25 REASONS LIFE COACHING'S EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED

Hey friend - you're here, so I'm going to assume we're like-minded.

We're doing our best ... but get it wrong sometimes. Maybe a lot of times.

We care what others think and feel.

We're trying out darndest to live a life of meaning and contribution.

We're doing everything we can to keep ourselves together for those we love and lead.

Well sweet friend let's do this thing called life together. I'll explain why:

In 2009, I was directing a Long Day Centre and speaking with a Human Resource Officer. This was our first meeting and we hit it off immediately. When she mentioned she'd be on annual leave the following week, I assumed she was going on holidays and asked where she was going. She shared she wasn't going on holidays - she was completing a Life Coaching qualification.

I'd never heard of Life Coaching but something in my lit up. Something in my physically responded - you can call that a sign from the Universe, my soul or a spirit guide. The name's irrelevant 'cause the rest, so they say, is history.

I began my studies that year. The skills and perspectives I gained from that time - and all the additional study since - have saved me in hard times and blown my mind with what's possible in others. Many times over. And I love to remember this, so I have a poster in my office that reads 'I still remember the days I dreamt of the things I have now.'

At first the improvements were slow and small. A new personal boundary. A little higher self-belief. A new financial goal. A new business.

Then, in 2020, it's like the snowball had gained momentum. From 2020-2025 I quadrupled my work identity, 3x my financial investments, deepened relationships and set even stronger boundaries when needed. All while going through the HARDEST & SADDEST years of my life.

But most the most valuable growth was the capacity to get through hard things. This created an emotional freedom I'd never known. Once afraid of emotions, I found a space in myself where I BELIEVED I could get through anything.

For a high school failure and depressed teen mum, that's worth every financial and time investment I've made in coaching.

But my story isn't the only evidence coaching's life changing. Here's more reasons ⬇️

Life coaching is the second fastest growing industry in the world and has increased by 60% since 2019.

With the deserved respect and understanding of the benefit of mental wellbeing and emotional intelligence on the quality of life, those statistics are understandable.

Add the impacts of COVID, increased financial and relationship challenges, as well as greater access to online tools, it's no wonder people are seeing life coaching as necessary as the gym, tv subscriptions or that weekly take-out.

Maybe you agree with the benefit of life coaching, but don't think it's right for you. That's why you can have a FREE, no obligation call with me to get your questions answered BEFORE you dive in. Click Here

In the interim, let me reassure you:

- it's not 'another thing you have to do'. Coaching is sitting back and chatting for about an hour a week. You don't need to prep or do homework.

- there's no need to worry about 'not being able to commit to the same time each week'. Life happens. You'll shoot me a text and we'll reschedule. Easy.

- I don't judge. I've got my own 'stuff'! We're all human doing a human experience. My goals for people to have someone to talk to, to feel supported and to start seeing their life in empowering ways.

- if you think you can't afford it, ask if you can afford NOT to improve your mental and emotional capacity!

- it's not 'selfish' to invest in yourself. Yes, you could spend that time and money on your children, but I promise, you'll NEVER regret investing in being able to hold the space for your children's emotions. I'm saying this as a mum to adult children. You've no idea how your children might need you through their teen or adult years and you'll be glad you worked on YOU before them 💗 What if their best friend passes away, they suffer from mental health crisis, they travel the world solo, their partner cheats on them, they lose a career opportunity? The cards that life deal are unpredictable. Like putting a seatbelt on before driving, life coaching is hoping for a fun drive but being prepared for the unexpected brake.

Just in case, you're still on the fence, here's 25 reasons life coaching might be EXACTLY the thing you need!

  1. You want to mull through the thoughts swirling in your mind but with someone unattached to the ‘characters’ in your life (family, friends, colleagues: wink, wink)
  2. There’s something deep, calling you for more, but you’re too scared to voice it. Life coaches see it in you! As John Whitmore says, ‘Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximise their growth.’
  3. Life’s actually A-OK for you … buuuut you never know what’s ‘round the corner, right?
  4. People know the ‘past you’. It can be hard for them to envision your dreams. Heck, it can be hard for YOU to envision your dreams. Enter your life coach: in particular, an Enneagram 7, Manifesting Generator! (that’s me – championing women to live outside the norm is my jam)
  5. Coaching provides a consistent, safe space for you to process life each or every other week.
  6. You want to know you’ve done EVERYTHING to be the best parent, teacher or leader you can be.
  7. Life’s short: you want to live it authentically. You know this means getting support to help you through hard emotions or to ponder different perspectives.
  8. You’ve heard about coaching and have seen people get great results: you’re unsure but curious (Hint: listen to the whispers of interest. It just might be your soul talking to you ….)
  9. You’ve hit rock bottom. Not ‘needing-intervention-rock-bottom’, but enough that you know something has to change. And in the words of Tom Zigler ‘Change starts with you, but it doesn’t start until you do.’ Book a free, no obligation chat to see if coaching with me is right for you.
  10. You’re lonely and have no-one to talk to.
  11. You LOOOOOOVE all things personal development! If there’s a way to uplevel, you’re in!
  12. You know the 5 people you spend the most time with are the most influential in your life, so yeah, you’ll buy forward-thinking and personal empowerment, FOR SURE!
  13. Your over-thinking is heavy …. you wish it could be lighter.
  14. You know you don’t need therapy or psychology, you just want a little something … Enter Life Coaching!
  15. You are SO SICK of your own STUFF!
  16. You know you’d already have the thing you want if you knew how to get it on your own. The fact you don't have it yet could mean there's something you're not seeing in yourself.
  17. The brain that got you here isn’t the brain that can get you there.
  18. Life’s testing you – Big Time. You know you’ll get through, but you don’t just want to ‘get through’. You want to come out the other side Better. Braver. Bolder.
  19. You came into surprise money and thought: I WANT SOMETHING FOR ME!
  20. You’re struggling with __________ (fill in the blank). Maybe it’s relationships, self-esteem, boredom, snapping at the children, being a people-pleaser. Whatever your ‘thing’, life coaching teaches you how to recognise and change it, while aligning with who and how you’d like it to be in the world.
  21. You’re sick of feeling like a victim.
  22. You want more! More money, more passion, more friends, more time, more joy. Whatever your ‘more’ is, let’s make it happen!
  23. You’re scared you’re letting down the people you love.
  24. Emotions scare you: yours, your children’s, your colleagues, your family’s. You walk on egg-shells ‘cause you don’t want to set anyone off ….
  25. You’ve read 24 reasons why someone might access life coaching, which tells me you’re a little more than curious. Book a no obligation call and tell me what’s stopping you going all in on yourself. What’s stopping you investing in you? Is your worry time, money, perceived selfishness? Are you worried I’ll think you’re silly? Are you scared you won’t follow through? Do you feel so overwhelmed and time-poor, you can’t imagine fitting another thing in? All these thoughts are valid… but that doesn’t mean they’re true or real (especially me thinking you’re silly – no way!) I encourage you to start ‘self-coaching’ now, by changing your focus from all the reasons coaching isn’t for you, to imaging how you’ll feel when the issue you have is an issue no more! Think of the emotional freedom you’ll experience AND the way you’ll be able to support others. Now that’s priceless.
